An Absolutely Stunning Home! This is a truly magnificent and huge house set in a breathtakingly beautiful location. It is equipped with literally everything you might need for a perfect stay—and then some! We were especially charmed by the wonderful library (I only wish I could read French to enjoy it fully!). The real highlight for us was the abundance of beautiful and diverse plants, both inside the home and in the lovely garden. It felt like a green paradise. Last but not least, a huge thank you to the gracious and helpful host, Jean-Claude, who made us feel so welcome. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Fantastic accommodation! Very spacious and extremely well equipped, with plenty of little nooks in the garden to enjoy the sunshine. The children loved their floor as well as the swimming pool. Jean-Claude takes great care of his guests.

It is an amazing property. Jean Claude has provided everything you could want in the home. The pictures do not do it justice as it is a very comfortable home with lots of character. The children spent many hours in the pool. We used the local bus service which was down the hill from the property. We also walked into the local town. Jean Claude was easily available for any concerns. I would highly recommend the property for a relaxing holiday with everything available to you

We had a wonderful stay. The house is charming, spacious, exceptionally well equipped and offers plenty of privacy, with a generous outdoor area to relax and enjoy. Jean-Claude was an incredibly generous and kind host. Communication was easy throughout our stay, and he really did everything to make us feel welcome and to ensure we had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Jean-Claude was an excellent host and the property was very well presented. The pool is lovely!! A well equipped kitchen (and BBQ) made all the difference to our stay. It was a wonderfully quiet location in the village of Saint-Louand, but just 15 minutes’ walk to the centre of Chinon along traffic-free country lanes. And a very short (5 minute) drive to the Leclerc supermarket, town centre parking, and numerous vineyards. We felt very much at home. The pool and garden is completely private and not overlooked. There is secure (gated) private parking adjoining the property. Overall a wonderful stay - thanks Jean-Claude.

We spent an excellent week in this huge, nicely decorated house, with good-quality mattresses, lots of crockery, a children's area with games, a ping-pong table... large pool with a very pretty large terrace. Jean Claude gave us a very warm welcome and was always available. The house is quiet and close to shops and Chinon, 3ms away. I recommend this house, ideal for families.

A lovely house, spacious and well equipped. The decor is tasteful; with the exposed stone and beams it has tremendous charm! The garden is very pleasant, with a pretty pool. All amenities are close by. The bedding is also of very high quality, essential for a good night's rest! The owner is very friendly and welcoming. We'll keep this address and will return with great pleasure!

Jean-Claude is the perfect host; he looked after us throughout our stay, giving advice and information — you can clearly see he knows his job. The accommodation is an absolute masterpiece; everything is thought out and arranged so you can have a great time. The villa was large and beautifully furnished. The spacious bedrooms were fantastic and the beds were good. In fact, nothing to complain about!

What a beautiful house! It’s a gorgeous building which has been lovingly restored. There are a lot of comfortable spaces to be in, and they are thoughtfully furnished. The swimming pool is excellent - really clean and a nice size. And the house is very well equipped - you will not run out of cutlery here! The host is easy to contact and charming. We have stayed in a lot of holiday houses and this is honestly one of the best. Nothing - it was really lovely.
