MMM-Bellevue-Our Place

The home is spacious and absolutely beautiful. The decorating and furnishings were outstanding and perfect for the location. We went to Chinon to relax after a tour of Normandy and a stay in Paris. The house is located in the middle of several vineyards and a 5 minute car ride into town. This was the perfect place for us to relax before heading back home. When we rent a house, we want a space that is comfortable but decorated on the higher-end of style. This was a perfect match for us.

We aren’t sure what was better about this house: the amazing house or the amazing hospitality of Melany & Jean-Claude! Thoughtful touches for our stay, amazing tips for visiting Chinon, and tastes of the region, we will surely stay here again! Highly recommend the house, the location, and our hosts!

This home is the best value in France! It is better than you could expect! The beauty, the size, the location and hospitality is PERFECT!! The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are a great size! The neighborhood is so quiet and charming! It's gated and very safe. It's great for a romantic getaway, a family vacation or a girls trip! (we did a girls trip! 🙂 ) The 4 of us couldn't have had a better time. Book it! You won't regret it! Thank you Jean-Claude & Melany! We appreciate all your special touches and thoughtfulness! 🙂

Beautiful property that has been furnished with love and style.Children loved the swimming pool and the easy access to historic Chinon and local vineyards meant the whole family had a fabulous stay.For those feeling the need to be more active there are some fabulous local bike routes to be enjoyed and canoeing on the Loire was great fun.

Jean-Claude's house is wonderful. The new pool has made a super difference to the outside entertaining area. The outdoor space is super with a large dining table and chairs and comfortable seating for relaxing. The interior spaces are nicely decorated - looking just like the pictures on the website. The kitchen is VERY WELL EQUIPPED and Jean-Claude took the time to explain how to work pretty much everything in the home - dishwasher, washing machine, oven - which has not always happened in other places we have stayed. Just a note to you that his house is on a corner and the front gates are not on the side that is the street address. So, it took a couple of tries before we found the right gate. Everything else was just magic. We had a great stay and Jean-Claude was very friendly and helpful. He could not have done more for us.

Jean-Claude’s place was fantastic! He met us upon arrival and showed the house and property to us. We had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The space was decorated nicely and very welcoming to relax and have some wine and talk. I would definitely recommend staying at Jean -Claude’s and would stay there again if I’m ever back in Chinon!

Wonderful place and location.. Jean-Claude and Melany were a great hosts.. from greeting us to saying au revoir. The place is in a perfect quiet location with 1-2km from all shops and restaurants and the Château Chinon. The home is super well furnished.. including all you would want in a kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Jean-Claude’s place Merci Jean-Claude Matt and Caro Canada

Jean-Claude was a wonderful host! He even went out of his way to come back to the house with fresh bread and treats for the kids. We loved the beautiful, spacious and well cared for home, which had everything we needed and more. Our two kids enjoyed the pool, ping pong table, board games, video games, and large upstairs area that was just for them! My wife and I relaxed and sipped wine on the front patio nightly. We appreciated all of the personal touches, and we hope to go back someday!

Maison très agréable à vivre, avec tout le confort nécessaire. La terrasse et le jardin sont certainement tres agréables aux beaux jours.

Superbe maison avec un magnifique cachet. Nous y avons passé un super séjour familial mais l’emplacement, les différents services / équipements de la maison ne sont que peu de choses par rapport à la qualité de l’accueil et la délicatesse de nos hôtes ! Aucune remarque à faire si ce n’est : allez-y !

Accueil chaleureux et maison super sympa , qui a beaucoup de charme , fonctionnelle , très spacieuse , bien équipée et avec une super terrasse exposée au sud , dans une région ou il y a beaucoup de choses à découvrir les vignes ,tous les châteaux du val de loire et bien d'autre chose encore ....

Séjour au delà de nos espérances, diverses attentions nous attendaient. Maison très agréable, spacieuse et calme. Encore merci pour l'accueil !
